Patrick Mcmenamy Sat Nov 8 20:44:12 1997 I'm searching for information on my Grandfather Joseph McMenamy who died in Stillwater, Minnesota around the years 1897/98. Any help would be appreciated. It's possible he may be buried in St. Michaels cemetery. Douglas A. Carlson Sun Nov 30 20:50:16 1997 I submitted a query earlier under the old system and the name came out wrong. I am seeking info on HEGG, AUGUST. He was born in 1859 in Sweden, and immigrated to Marine Mills. He married Alma Josephine Johnson (1862-1945), from Stillwater. He later farmed in New Scandia twp. Sons were :George F.(01/11/86-03/30/17), Arthur W. (12/14/88-11/21/81), Raymond ? (02/16/93-04/06/67), and Donald G. (?/?/22-?/?/25). I am seeking info on his immigration and birthplace. I have titled my search "seeking the lost lumbermen", since August, Arthur, and George, were all lumbermen during the later part of the 1800's. I have traced them to British Colombia during the 1895-1917 period, where they also were lumbermen, but retired and died in Scandia. My grandfather, Arthur W. Hegg, was a blacksmith in Scandia between about 1920-1950. I would appreciate any help in my search. Thank you.:-) |
